About
In 1913, writer-educator and philanthropist Don Rosendo Mejica founded the first Hiligaynon newspaper, Makinaugalingon (self-reliant). The printing press with the same name was officially opened at Iznart St., Iloilo City on the same year. Through the years, because of its self-reliance and quality of service, it has become the biggest and the most modern printing press in the region.
